Process Mechanical Engineer

Our client, a manufacturing company feeding the automotive industry, is seeking a Maintenance/Manufacturing Engineer to join their team. As a Manufacturing Engineer you will be part of the Product/Process Engineering Team supporting Manufacturing. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in production machine maintenance, accomplished shop floor comfort, automation equipment, plant management and team leadership. The position is located in Menomonee Falls, WI and much stronger consideration will be given to candidates from the greater Milwaukee, WI marketplace.
Job Title: Manufacturing/Maintenance Engineer
Location: Menomonee Falls, WI
Pay: $90-$110K annually plus bonus

Key Responsibilities

• Works without supervision and provides technical guidance when required on analyzing data trends for use in reports to help guide decision making.
• Coordinate the installation, start up, and debugging of production equipment.
• Organize and schedule projects in coordination with Plant Management as assigned.
• Support the development and implementation of cost reductions and productivity improvements in conjunction with Plant Manager.
• Provide assistance on shop floor.

• Assist production leadership in developing corrective actions and implementing process improvements to eliminate non-conformance.
• Provide guidance and assistance to quality technicians and internal audit team members at various plant locations.
• Analyze and diagnose complex machine malfunctions to expedite and coordinate corrective actions to prevent excessive downtime and interrupted schedules.
• Dismantle and inspect, rebuild and overhaul complete machines and components.
• Complete detailed quotes and repair lead times for recommended repairs with outside vendors.
