Description: HTI is seeking an experienced Process Engineer for a Tier 1 automotive manufacturer in Duncan, SC. This role will focus on optimizing injection molding processes, training technicians, and driving continuous improvement efforts in a high-performance manufacturing environment. This position is Direct Hire, M-F 1 st shift. The pay range is $80,000 - $90,000 depending on experience.

What You Need:
- Minimum of 4 years' experience in a technician, engineering, or process role in a molding and assembly-manufacturing environment
- Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred (or equivalent industry experience)
- Strong understanding of injection molding processes and tooling
- Computer literacy and problem-solving skills
- Ability to train, lead, and collaborate cross-functionally
What Your Role Will Look Like:
The Process Engineer will be responsible for ensuring stable, efficient, and high-quality manufacturing processes. This includes hands-on work with tooling, process troubleshooting, machine optimization, and team training.
- Perform tool changeovers and start up processes with end-of-arm tooling
- Monitor and adjust machine parameters to maintain process stability
- Identify and resolve root causes of process issues (machines, tools, settings)
- Improve machine efficiency and overall utilization
- Maintain high-quality standards across all injection molding machines
- Analyze and address customer returns from a process standpoint
- Train process and setup technicians on proper use of equipment and settings
- Optimize setup of injection mold tools and secondary equipment
- Collaborate with Planning to maximize uptime and minimize changeover time
- Provide absence coverage for Process Technicians when needed
- Support ongoing 5S activities
- Participate in projects assigned by plant or technology leadership
- Perform other duties as assigned
