Position Summary The Press Feeder Operator is responsible for accurately loading materials, supporting press operations, monitoring quality, and making mechanical adjustments to ensure uninterrupted production. This role plays a critical part in maintaining operational efficiency, minimizing downtime, and upholding our high standards of print quality.   • Material Loading: Accurately load paper, cardboard, and other substrates into the press, ensuring proper alignment and continuous feeding throughout the print run.
  • Press Operation Support: Work alongside the Press Operator to monitor performance and maintain uninterrupted operation.
  • Mechanical Adjustments: Make real-time adjustments to feeder mechanisms, paper tension, and alignment to maintain quality and prevent downtime.
  • Quality Control: Inspect materials regularly for defects, ensuring proper ink application, color registration, and material integrity.
  • Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve feeding or mechanical issues quickly to maintain production flow.
  • Maintenance Support: Assist with routine press cleaning and minor maintenance to promote equipment longevity and efficiency.
  • Documentation: Record production data including material usage, job details, and issues encountered during operation.
Work Schedule
  • 4-day, 10-hour workweek
  • Monday - Thursday
  • 5:00 AM - 3:30 AM

  • Strong mechanical aptitude with hands-on experience in a manufacturing or printing environment
  • Demonstrated problem-solving skills with a focus on quality and efficiency
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced production setting
  • High attention to detail and commitment to maintaining quality standards
  • Previous printing press experience preferred; we are willing to train the right candidate
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to stand and/or walk up to 8 hours per shift
  • Ability to occasionally lift and carry up to 50 pounds
