The Print Operator will produce printed materials by following printing job specifications which include: equipment
setup, operating, adjusting, and maintaining the printing equipment to ensure that it functions properly
throughout the printing process. The printer operator is responsible for producing the highest quality near
photographic prints to meet the requirements of our clients including all phases of printing. This includes
everything from waste management to quality control. The print operator will foster a spirit of cooperation within
the production department and between colleagues to ensure all projects are delivered on time and are consistent
with work order specifications. As the representative of this position, you will report to the local manager. Experience in running roll to roll and flatbed printers
Offer realistic and creative ideas for our clients and our internal needs (are you a MacGyver?)
Solid working knowledge of large format printing and finishing processes and materials
Establish a consultative approach when working with the team members
Hands-on experience with great communication skills
Proactive self-starter with a Great Attitude and Work Ethic
Facilitate efficient, quick changeover from job to job
Operate in an efficient, process oriented manner to save costs for the client and the company
Perform proofing and quality control checks on each job produced
Process, comprehend, and follow detailed written and verbal instructions
Adobe Suite software knowledge is a plus
Zund (router/cutter) file setup and operational knowledge is a plus
What we require:
Minimum (2) years experience in large format production
Knowledgeable in the movement of materials through the manufacturing process
Background in Onyx or Caldera RIP software preferred
Must be able to use and read a standard tape measure
Exceptional math skills & creative problem solving
Ability to hand cut material with cutting blade and ruler
Report to work as scheduled to support business operations
Occasional late night and/or weekend work
GED Required
Duties & Responsibilities:
Provide team support in the production environment
Evaluate methods available for producing the job with estimating and select the plan which produces the
job in the most economical way and on time
Solve problems in the production environment
Establish a consultative approach when working with customers and sales team
Continued education in materials and graphic applications
Facilitate efficient, quick changeover from job to job
Operate in an efficient, process oriented manner to save costs for the client and the company
Perform proofing and quality control checks on each job produced
Process, comprehend, and follow detailed written and verbal instructions
Maintain a safe, clean and orderly work area
Required attendance at daily production meetings
Occasional late night and/or weekend work

Compensation details: 20-24 Hourly Wage
