What You'll Do


The Porter-Groundskeeper is responsible for maintaining the overall cleanliness, appearance, and curb appeal of the community. This role focuses on the upkeep of grounds, parking areas, and common spaces while assisting with service requests and delivering superior customer service to foster positive resident relationships.


Duties & Responsibilities

  • Regularly inspect the grounds, buildings, and community areas to identify and address safety hazards, liability concerns, and cleanliness issues, ensuring the property meets company standards.
  • Complete resident service requests in a timely manner and support timely completion to ensure resident satisfaction.
  • Assist with unit inspections for move-in readiness and support the make-ready process throughout the year and during peak turnover.
  • Monitor property conditions and report any units not meeting cleanliness or trash standards to the Maintenance Supervisor.
  • Perform apartment turn-related tasks and assist with preventative maintenance to preserve property condition.

What You Bring

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
  • Previous experience in groundskeeping, janitorial services, maintenance support, or property management is preferred.
  • CPO Certification preferred.
  • Valid driver's license, good driving record, and proof of insurance.
  • Proficient in the safe use of hand tools, power tools, and basic maintenance equipment.
