Plant Maintenance Technician

Plant Maintenance Technician

The Maintenance Technician, under the supervision of the Plant Manager, will perform all necessary maintenance duties for plant equipment and related components.

The Maintenance Technician will perform these duties both individually and as part of a crew.

The Maintenance Technician will be trained in relevant plant safety policies, assist in plant operations, odor detection, and plant turnarounds, provide additional support for plant operators, and be responsible for housekeeping of the site and shop.

Additional responsibilities will be assigned as necessary.

The Maintenance Technician will be able to:

Communicate effectively

Perform duties from verbal or written instruction

Be able to lift 50 pounds frequently

Be able to lift 100 pounds occasionally.

Equipment operations experience is a plus.

Preferred skills of the candidate:

Light mechanical, equipment operation experience, and strong verbal communication.

This is an all-weather position; candidate must be able to work in various weather conditions.

This is an on-call position for plant call outs performed on a rotating schedule.

Position requires physical and mental toughness and ability to work individually with minimal supervision.

Hours: Monday - Friday 7am-5pm. This is an on-call position for plant call outs performed on a rotating schedule.
