Petroleum Engineer I

Our client, the energy sector, is seeking a Petroleum Engineer II to join their team. As a Petroleum Engineer II, you will be part of the Reservoir Management Department supporting drilling, completions, reservoir management, and production teams. The ideal candidate will demonstrate analytical thinking, proactive problem-solving, and excellent collaboration skills, which will align successfully in the organization.

What's the Job?

  • Ensure proper implementation of reservoir management strategies and surveillance plans, including short-term operational adjustments.
  • Maintain accurate and accessible wellbore hydraulic models for technical teams.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities and optimize well performance.
  • Validate and analyze pressure data, including PVT assumptions and downhole fluid parameters.
  • Perform routine applications of reservoir engineering skills and solve complex problems by integrating multidisciplinary knowledge.

What's Needed?

  • Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering or related field.
  • Experience in upstream oil and gas, petrochemical, or related industries.
  • Knowledge of petroleum engineering operations and production methods for oil and natural gas recovery.
  • Familiarity with reservoir surveillance, modeling, and wellbore performance optimization tools.
  • Ability to work independently and demonstrate industry experience with multiple clients or professional groups.
