JOB SUMMARY


Can work independently under limited supervision and is responsible for delivering an exceptional client service experience while servicing clients with a full range of banking products and services. Responsible for monitoring and assisting the lobby, executing and/or submitting various administrative and operational activities related to clients, banking products and services. Interact with clients in person, via telephone and email, responding to inquiries and providing information as requested.


Primary activities include, but are not limited to, establishing and/or submitting requests for opening, maintaining and servicing client accounts, executing money movement, preparing and producing client materials and reports, resolving client inquiries, as well as maintaining complete and accurate recordkeeping. Provide maintenance and holistic advice on assigned relationships by cross-selling and identifying client needs. Of critical importance is their adherence to the required banking guidelines, procedures and policies involved with requested activities.



DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES


1. Understanding the business model and engaging appropriate business unit subject matter experts to explore potential opportunities with the client. Provides maintenance and holistic advice on assigned relationships by cross selling and identifying client needs.


2. Executes and/or submits client account servicing activities within appropriate time frames, including but not limited to the processing of wires and fund transfers, opening and closing accounts, maintenance of accurate and complete account records, imaging of documents, and researching of client issues.


3. Proactively communicates with the relationship management team as appropriately to obtain necessary information to properly execute the requested activity.


4. Handles banking activities, including cash transactions and daily balancing activities. Fully understands and adheres to all policies and procedures as documented on the TrustBank Intranet.

5. Assists with maintenance and servicing of Safe Deposit Boxes in offices where available.


6. Demonstrates expertise in the setting up all types of client accounts and services. Reviews documentation for completeness and follows through to avoid documentation deficiencies relating to deposit accounts.


7. Maintains a strong understanding of policies and procedures and addresses the requirements of each activity in a timely fashion and in strict adherence with TrustBank risk management and compliance guidelines and procedures, promptly escalating any issues and/or concerns to management.


8. Maintains a strong knowledge of the various business applications critical to client and account servicing, including online tools, and seeks to expand knowledge of the latest enhancements to Northern Trust partner and client technology and/or systems to maintain the highest standards of servicing.


9. Keeps informed of all new products and services to respond to client questions and to assist in selling services which results in expanding the overall client relationship.


10. Monitors banking reports as well as provides assistance with banking audits as directed by the Arizona Banking Manager.


11. Is called upon to share expertise in the deposit area of the bank and trains others as designated by the Arizona Banking Manager.


12. Perform other duties as assigned


QUALIFICATIONS and KEY ATTRIBUTES

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be effective in client relationship service and development. You must be able to effectively engage clients, to determine their needs. You must have exceptional communication skills, strong attention to detail, proactive, analytical, show empathy, and require minimal supervision. Will require travel across regional locations may occur.


WORKING CONDITIONS and ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

The position is Monday through Friday, typically from 8AM - 5PM and is forty hours a week. Additional hours may be required as needed. The position will primarily be located 14631 N Scottsdale Rd Ste. 100 Scottsdale, AZ 85254. The position requires long periods of sitting in front of a computer. Noise level is moderate, and the office is well lit. The duties of the job may require the employee to stand, walk, use hands, and feel objects, tools, or controls, reach with hands, arms, and talk, or hear. Ability to lift 25 pounds. Vision abilities include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to focus. Some work may be repetitive at the computer and the position requires direct work with the public.

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

The estimated hourly rate for this position is $26.00 to $33.00 per hour, along with the eligibility for a discretionary annual bonus that can start at $1,000.00. Pay rate may vary based on the candidate's qualifications, skills, and experience. Our generous employee benefits details may be found on our bank's website.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

Minimum of 5+ years of banking experience is required and a degree in the business or finance is preferred.


REQUIRED SKILLS and ABILITIES

Strong analytical, problem solving, and organizational skills are required to identify, research and/or resolve requests, as well as to manage conflicting priorities and workflow. A strong knowledge of general financial principles to be able to service and effectively communicate with high-net-worth clients. Stay up to date with financial software and applications and fully understand how technology supports the role and TrustBank's high standards of servicing.


TECHNICAL SKILLS

Proficiency in MS Office 365, Excel skills are particularly important for data entry, management and analysis, planning software, and report preparation. Familiarity with software applications in the trust administration space, CRMs, or financial operations are ideal. The ability to quickly learn and adapt around new software is essential



Compensation details: 26-33 Hourly Wage
