This position reports directly to the Pattern Maker.

This position does not directly supervise others.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE POSITION
- Use various tools and equipment to perform body repair on patterns for molds
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
- Ability to read and understand drawings/blueprints
- Ability to operate Pattern Shop equipment to repair patterns (bandsaw, table saw, various sanders, hand tools, etc.)
- Ability to use different fillers to repair patterns from defects or damage
- Ability to work alone or as a team
TOOLS AND EQUIPMENT - Steel toe boots
- Hard hat
- Safety glasses
PHYSICAL DEMANDS - Must be able to lift at least 70 pounds
- Must be physically able to stand for long periods of time
- Must be able to wear the required personal protective equipment
- Must be able to work in various temperatures based on outside weather conditions
WORK ENVIRONMENT
Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED required
- Must be at least 18 years of age
