Parts delivery driver starts when order is taken, and the process starts with accurate order pulling and efficient delivery, though safe driving. Good Parts Delivery Drivers build rapport with customers and technicians. They maintain friendly, courteous relationships that encourage repeat business and customers from looking for other parts providers on future orders.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Conform and abide to all rules in the policy book set forth by Watts Equipment and the Management team.
- Plan your own routes for maximum efficiency and stay in contact with your lead or supervisor.
- Responsible for reporting periodic maintenance and cleaning of company vehicles.
- Delivery of parts and other items to customers throughout the day.
- Maintain and Replenishment all consignments.
- Schedule and manage all customer core pick up.
- Offer new products while on deliveries.
- Provide receipt to customers
- Present a favorable (positive) attitude and be helpful to customers and technicians.
- Assist with Van and Physical Inventory.
- Maintain and open line of communication between the parts department and the customer service personnel, as well as other departments within Watts Equipment Company.
- Perform other assigned duties as required by the parts department.
- Assist in keeping the Parts Department/Company vehicle in a clean and orderly manner.

- Ability to work under pressure, handle changing priorities, to be self-motivated with good business judgment.
- Clean DMV driving record and pass a pre-employment drug screen.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Key Result Areas (Physical Requirements):
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs. Unassisted.
- Must have good reading, writing, and basic math skills.
- This job will also include frequent bending and squatting.
Clear dictation, correct grammar and acute hearing are necessary for effective communication with customers, vendors, management and other employees.
