Part Time Warehouse Agent / Driver

• Salary Range: $17 - $21 Hourly Range

OBJECTIVE

The primary role of the Part-Time Warehouse Agent/Driver is to manage the safe, accurate and timely shipping and receiving of freight and materials. This role also includes occasional transport of drop trailers to and from the airport. Ideal candidates will be able to verify and inspect incoming and outgoing goods, maintain a clean and organized workspace, and assist with additional tasks and assignments as needed.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

In this position, the Warehouse Agent is responsible for:

• Work directly with internal departments, external clients, and logistics partners to track and manage shipments, ensuring deadlines are consistently met.
• Maintain general maintenance of facilities and equipment.
• Perform daily checks of the dock area and provide updates to management.
• Perform reweighing and dimensional (DIM) measurements of packages to verify shipping information and compliance.
• Comply with all TSA rules and regulations.
• Ensure all paperwork for shipments received on dock is turned over to the office, once the receiving process is completed.
• Operate forklifts to load, unload, and transport materials within the warehouse, ensuring safety, accuracy, and efficiency in all material handling tasks
• Occasionally carry out airport drop truck duties, including the safe delivery, drop-off, and retrieval of cargo trailers in compliance with TSA and airport regulations.
• Ensure dock area remains secure at all times, prioritizing strict adherence to facility access and security protocols.
• Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS: KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum of 1 years' experience Freight Forwarding / Air Freight / Line-Haul experience required.
• Minimum of 1 years' experience working in a warehouse preferred.
• High School diploma or GED required
• Must possess a valid driver's license and be able to pass and maintain a current DOT physical exam.
• Must be eligible for required FAA and TSA Security Programs and Clearances. In-house training provided.
• Dangerous Goods Awareness training an asset.
• Effective communication skills in English - read, write, listen, and speak.
• Team cooperation and respect is required.
• Work well under pressure in a time sensitive environment.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to multi-task.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (i.e. Outlook, Excel, Word) is an asset.
• Basic computer skills in Excel (i.e. data entry, formatting) is an asset.
• Work Schedule
• Set working hours of 5 hours per day with requisite rest breaks.
• Consistently report to work on time, prepared to perform required duties.
• Ensure work responsibilities are covered when absent.
• Work Environment:
• Usually moderate level noise level.
• The warehouse environment subject to heat and cold.
• Physical Demands:
• Standing for extended periods of time.
• Regular moderate lifting (25-65lbs.)
• Repetitive motions.

Starting pay for this role will vary based on multiple factors, including but not limited to an individual's education, work experience, skills, and job-related knowledge. Pay ranges may be modified in the future.
