Job Title: Part-Time Custodian
Location: Napoleon
Shift: Monday - Friday 5pm - 8pm
Pay Range: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
Job Summary:
We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Part-Time Custodian to join our team. You will be responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for our staff and customers. This is a great role for someone who enjoys working independently and takes pride in a job well done.
Core Responsibilities:
- General Cleaning: Sweep, mop and vacuum floors in common areas and offices.
- Restroom Maintenance: Clean and sanitize toilets, sinks, and mirrors; restock paper products and soap.
- Waste Management: Empty trash daily and transport waste to designated outdoor areas.
- Surface Care: Dust furniture, windowsills, and fixtures; clean glass doors and partitions.
- Safety & Security: Ensure all doors are locked and lights are turned off at the end of the shift; report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management.
Requirements:
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
- Previous cleaning or janitorial experience is a plus, but we are willing to train the right person.
- Ability to handle physical tasks, including standing for long periods and lifting up to 40 lbs.
- Strong sense of reliability and punctuality.
- Ability to follow safety protocols, especially when handling cleaning chemicals.
