Panelshop Technician I

Our client, operates in the power management industry and is seeking a Panelshop Technician I to join their team.

Job Title: Panelshop Technician I

Location: Warrendale, PA

Pay Range: $22 - $27

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist senior technicians or engineers in the manufacturing, assembly, wiring, and testing of custom-designed products following established procedures and safety protocols.

  • Perform routine inspections, tests, and quality checks on electrical equipment.

  • Troubleshoot wiring issues using digital multimeters, manuals, and technical documentation-escalating to senior technicians or engineers as needed.

  • Strictly adhere to safety regulations, policies, and procedures, maintaining a safe and clean work environment and reporting hazards or incidents.

Required Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.

  • 1-3 years of experience in a technical or maintenance role (preferably in manufacturing, laboratory, or industrial environments).

  • Basic knowledge of mechanical, electrical, or electronic systems and components.

  • Ability to use hand and power tools safely and effectively.

  • Proficiency in reading electrical schematics and wiring diagrams.

  • Ability to perform point-to-point wiring in a factory setting.

  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team.

  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.

  • Ability to lift and carry heavy objects, climb ladders, and perform physical tasks as needed.

  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Technical certification or associate degree in electronics, mechanics, industrial technology, or a related field.

  • Familiarity with safety regulations and best practices in industrial environments.

  • Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.

  • Experience working in diverse, collaborative teams to achieve shared goals.
