The company was founded in Bethesda, MD in 2013, to bring fresh, made-from-scratch organic breads, pastries, sweets, and croissant items inspired by bakeries in France to the DMV area. We have expanded to eight retail locations, two production bakeries, and a thriving wholesale business. We serve coffee shops, restaurants, hotels, and grocery stores with fresh products every day, 365 days a year.

We are growing and constantly looking for passionate people to join our team. We are seeking a dynamic team member to fill our position for Full-Time Packaging Clerks at our Germantown production center (19548 Amaranth Dr Germantown, MD 20874).

You will prepare orders so that our wholesale customers receive their orders on time and in good condition. We pack, bag, and label thousands of products each night for delivery to various grocery stores and coffee shops throughout the DMV.

Shifts

• 8AM-4PM
• 6-8 Hour shift
• 5 Days a week Monday through Friday but may be Saturday and Sunday as needed.
• 30-40 hours per week

Your responsibilities will be:

• Packaging bread and Viennese
• Follow packaging process, rules and food safety standards
• To shape cardboard boxes every day
• Put in crates of frozen products, which implies a presence in the freezers a few minutes.
• Complete logs and reports
• Follow directions
• Perform tedious repetitive tasks such as bagging, slicing, making boxes

Environment:

• Warehouse
• Loud noises
• Hot and cold temperatures
• Large industrial machinery

Requirements

• Authorization to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
• Open Availability including weekends
• Availability to work Holidays - Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Years, etc.
• Strong communication skills
• Reliable transportation to work
• Ability to stand for 8 hours
• Knowledge of food handling is a plus
