About the Role
We're hiring anOvernight Bakery Managerto lead our overnight team in baking, packaging, and delivering our products. This hands-on role ensures quality, efficiency, and food safety while supporting a positive, well-organized work environment.
Key Responsibilities
Supervise and train overnight baking, packing, and delivery teams
Ensure product quality and consistency across all items
Schedule and manage staff, ensuring shift coverage and performance
Maintain sanitation and GMP standards, bakery cleanliness, and equipment
Support product development and seasonal offerings
Manage delivery logistics to cafes and wholesale partners
Use 7Shifts and internal tools to track performance and communicate daily updates
Partner with leadership on staffing, training, and operational improvements
What We're Looking For
3+ years of supervisory experience in a bakery or food production environment
Strong knowledge of bread and pastry production (mixing, shaping, proofing, baking)
Understanding of GMP, food safety standards, and bakery equipment
Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills
Must have a clean driving record and valid RI Food Safety Manager Certificate (or ability to obtain)
Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus
Physical Requirements
Able to lift 50+ lbs and stand/walk up to 8 hours
Able to work nights, weekends, and holidays
