What You'll Do
As an Outside Sales Representative, you'll be responsible for growing and managing customer relationships throughout your territory by selling:
- Industrial Supplies
- Welding Supplies & Equipment
- Construction Supplies
- Process Piping & Fittings
- Structural Steel
- Hydraulic Hoses & Fittings
You'll spend your time:
- Developing new business and hunting for opportunities
- Building long-term customer relationships
- Managing and growing existing accounts
- Closing deals (our inside sales team does the quotes, you close them)
- Working closely with our inside sales and operations teams
- Becoming the trusted supplier for contractors, manufacturers, fabricators, and industrial facilities
What We're Looking For
Required:
- Proven sales experience in at least one of the following:
- Industrial Supplies
- Welding Supplies
- Construction Supplies
- Material Sales (Pipe, Fittings, Structural Steel, etc.)
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Self-motivated with a hunter mentality
- Ability to manage territory and customer accounts independently
- Competitive mindset and desire to outperform expectations
Bonus Points:
- Existing customer relationships within the Upstate, SC market
- Experience calling on industrial plants, contractors, fabricators, or manufacturing facilities
- Knowledge of MRO products, steel, piping systems, or welding processes
