The Operations Supervisor, for our Ramp and Field Safety team is responsible for leading and implementing safety programs, inspections, and training to ensure a safe and compliant work environment across all operational areas. This role proactively identifies hazards, enforces safety standards, and partners with management to drive a culture of safety and regulatory compliance. Based in the heart of JFK at Building 139 - JFK Airport, Jamaica, NY 11430, the position plays a critical role in protecting employees, equipment, and operations while supporting LSG Sky Chefs' commitment to excellence and operational integrity.

• Lead daily safety operations in the facility and on the ramp, ensuring all work is done safely and correctly.

• Train employees on safety procedures and best practices to reduce risks and prevent accidents.

• Conduct regular inspections and address any safety concerns quickly.

• Investigate incidents and make sure solutions are put in place to prevent them from happening again.

• Hold monthly safety meetings to keep everyone informed and engaged.

• Ensure compliance with OSHA, FAA, EPA, DOT, and other safety regulations.

• Work with leadership to prepare for and pass safety audits.

• Motivate, coach, and guide your team to create a strong safety culture.

• Supervisory or leadership experience in safety, aviation, transportation, manufacturing, or similar industries.

• Knowledge of OSHA and other workplace safety regulations.

• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to stay organized and work well under pressure.

• Flexibility to work varied shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
