Our client, a leader in the facilities management and building operations industry, is seeking an experienced HVAC/Refrigeration Technician to join their team. As part of the Facilities Maintenance Department, you will support operations across multiple buildings. The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise, excellent problem-solving skills, and a proactive approach to maintenance and safety, which will align successfully with the organization's goals.

Job Title: HVAC/Refrigeration Technician

Location: Andover, MA

Pay Range: $45-$48/hour

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM

What's the Job?

  • Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair HVAC and refrigeration systems, including chillers, cooling towers, VAV systems, and heat exchangers.
  • Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on pumps, motors, compressors, piping, valves, and electrical controls.
  • Install HVAC units and rebuild mechanical components as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards and departmental policies, including hazardous materials handling.

What's Needed?

  • Massachusetts Refrigeration License (Required)
  • Minimum 3 years of experience with HVAC and refrigeration mechanical systems
  • High school diploma or equivalent; trade school preferred
  • Proficiency with BAS, CMMS, and Microsoft Office
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, work in confined spaces, and perform physically demanding tasks
