Non CDL Driver $230.75 Per Day Akron, OH TransForce is seeking a NON CDL Driver to support local operations based in Akron, OH. This is a temp to hire position.
CDL B Driver Details - Schedule: Tues-Sat; 100 AM start time.
- Freight / Load Type: Autoparts
- Equipment: Automatic trucks
- Handling: Touch Freight - unload with pallet jack and dolly, some by hand, carts on wheels
CDL B Driver Minimum Requirements: - Experience: 6 months of recent, relevant, and verifiable driving experience
- Clean Motor Vehicle Record (no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in last 3 years)
- Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements
NON CDL Driver Responsibilities: - Safely operate NON CDL vehicles on local routes
- Transport freight in accordance with DOT and company safety standards
- Perform required handling tasks including unloading with palletjack, dolly and some by hand.
- Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections
- Maintain accurate logs and paperwork
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and operations
