This position for Fab 11X/Fab 9 includes shift openings on shifts 4, 5, 6, and 7:
Shift 4: (nights frontend) PM-AM Sun-Tues and alternating Saturday nights.
Shift 5: (days frontend) AM-PM Sun-Tues and alternating Wednesday days.
Shift 6: (nights backend) PM-AM Wed-Sat and alternating Saturday night.
Shift 7: (days backend) AM-PM Thurs-Sat and alternating Wednesday days.

Module Equipment Technicians perform functions associated with all wafer production including:
Operations, equipment maintenance, process, and training.
Collects and evaluates operating data to conduct on-line equipment adjustment and ensure process optimization.
Responsible for running material in a qualitative way. Also, responsible for preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, spares, and sustaining.
Performs operational tasks, preventative maintenance, and/or assists in troubleshooting to determine problems in equipment used in the manufacturing process.
In addition, the Module Equipment Technician is responsible for:
Improvement processes, troubleshooting nonstandard events in the production line, and reviewing technological health and stability.
May participate in safety forums and Emergency Response Team as required.
Work is somewhat complex and is performed within the spectrum ranging from narrowly defined parameters and limited judgment up to highly complex and nonstandard assignments in nature and broadly defined parameters.
High degree of judgment and initiative is required in resolving complex nonstandard problems and developing recommendations.
Receives general instructions on routine work and detailed instructions on new work.

This is an entry level position, and it will be compensated accordingly.

QualificationsMinimum Requirements:
To meet the minimum qualifications for this position, you must have one or more of the following:
Associates or Bachelor's STEM related degree OR
1-year technical certification or Trade school in an equipment/technical focused program or AND a High School Diploma or GED OR
1-year related equipment preventative maintenance, repair & troubleshooting in an industry/professional capacity or related Military experience (including but not limited to: Mechanics, Machinists, Electronics, Avionics, Automotive and Diesel Mechanics, Maintenance, Explosive Ordnance Disposal, Equipment, Repairers, Systems, Technician, Sonar Training, Aviation) AND a High School Diploma or GED.
( Educational Degree/Trade School/Certifications including, but not limited to: Microelectronics, Mechatronics, Electronic Technology, Equipment Technology, Industrial Technology, Manufacturing Technology, Avionics Technology/Maintenance, Automotive or Diesel Maintenance, HVAC, Electrical, Chemical, Materials or Semiconductor related scientific studies).
Candidate must possess the degree/certification or expect to complete the required degree/certification by employment start date.
Candidate must be willing to: Work a day/night shift compressed work week schedule. The schedule will consist of three twelve-hour days/nights in a row followed by a fourth day/night every other week.
Must be willing to lift up to 35 pounds (18 kgs) at least 4 times a day.
Position requires frequent standing, walking, bending, and reaching during entire shift.
Must be willing to work in a clean room environment, wearing coveralls, hoods, booties, safety glasses and gloves.
