B2C Mechanical Inc., (A 100% employee-owned ESOP) is looking to hire an organized, professional Multi-Family Foreman to join our team.


In this pivotal role, you will ensure quality craftsmanship and efficient project delivery while mentoring a skilled team of professionals. Your expertise will contribute to creating safe, functional, and aesthetically pleasing living environments for families.


Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Oversee and manage plumbing crews on multi-family residential construction projects.
  2. Plan and coordinate daily work schedules and tasks for plumbing teams.
  3. Ensure all plumbing installations comply with local codes, safety standards, and project specifications.
  4. Inspect work progress, equipment, and construction sites to verify safety and adherence to specifications.
  5. Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other trade professionals to resolve design and construction issues.
  6. Order and manage inventory of plumbing materials and supplies to ensure timely project completion.
  7. Train and mentor plumbing apprentices and junior plumbers to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  8. Conduct regular safety meetings and enforce compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
  9. Monitor and report on project progress, budget adherence, and resource allocation.
  10. Troubleshoot and resolve plumbing system issues promptly to minimize project delays.
  11. Maintain accurate records of labor hours, materials used, and project documentation.
  12. Communicate effectively with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to provide updates and address concerns.


Pay DOE starting at: 60,000 annually



Position Requirements

Requirements:

  1. Minimum of 5 years of experience in plumbing, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role
  2. Valid plumbing license or certification
  3. Proven experience in multi-family residential projects
  4. Strong knowledge of plumbing systems, blueprints, and schematics
  5. Excellent leadership and team management skills
  6. Ability to coordinate with other trades and contractors
  7. Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities
  8. Proficient in using plumbing tools and equipment
  9. Familiarity with building codes and safety regulations
  10. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  11. Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  12. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
  13. Ability to lift heavy equipment and materials as required
  14. Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, if necessary


Physical Requirements:

Must have the physical ability to lift and carry up to 50lb. objects upstairs and be able to crawl under tables and climb ladders. Abel to perform work in unusual and sometimes difficult positions, such as scaffolding and high lift equipment.
