About the Role:

As a Mixer in the bakery industry, you will play a critical role in ensuring the precise blending of raw materials to create high-quality products. Your primary focus will be to operate and monitor mixing equipment, adhering strictly to production specifications and safety standards. You will collaborate closely with production teams to maintain consistent product quality and optimize mixing processes. Attention to detail and the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues promptly will be essential to minimize downtime and maintain production schedules. Ultimately, your work will directly impact the efficiency of manufacturing operations and the quality of the final product delivered to customers.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience operating mixing or manufacturing equipment in an industrial setting.
  • Basic understanding of safety procedures and manufacturing processes.
  • Ability to read and interpret production instructions and safety documentation.
  • Physical ability to stand for extended periods and handle materials as required.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Technical certification or training related to manufacturing or equipment operation.
  • Experience with computerized control systems or automated mixing equipment.
  • Familiarity with quality control standards and documentation practices.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and mechanical aptitude.
  • Experience working in a team-oriented manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Operate and maintain industrial mixing machinery according to established protocols and safety guidelines.
  • Measure and combine raw materials accurately to meet product formulation requirements.
  • Monitor mixing processes continuously to ensure consistency and quality standards are met.
  • Perform routine equipment inspections and report any malfunctions or maintenance needs promptly.
  • Maintain detailed records of production batches, including materials used, process parameters, and any deviations.
  • Collaborate with quality control and production teams to address any issues related to product quality or process efficiency.
  • Adhere to all workplace safety regulations and participate in ongoing safety training.

The required skills enable the Mixer to operate complex machinery safely and efficiently, ensuring that raw materials are combined precisely to meet product specifications. Attention to detail is crucial for monitoring the mixing process and maintaining consistent quality. Communication skills facilitate effective collaboration with team members and reporting of any issues. Work week: Saturday thru Friday
Shift Availability: 4am to 2pm
Must be available to work weekends and holidays
Weekly hours: 30 - 40
Shift length: 6 - 8 hours
Hours will vary based on the volume of the business

Compensation details: 16.5-18 Hourly Wage
