Our client, a leader in industrial manufacturing and engineering support, is seeking a Mechanical Technician 3 to join their dedicated team. As a Mechanical Technician 3, you will be an integral part of the Engineering Support Department, collaborating with skilled professionals to ensure the optimal performance of machinery and equipment. Pay Range:

What's the Job?

  • Modify, test, and repair machinery and equipment under the guidance of engineering staff or scientists
  • Prepare parts sketches, draft detailed drawings, and coordinate with outside contractors for parts fabrication
  • Review project instructions and blueprints to determine test specifications, procedures, and objectives
  • Identify, modify, and plan requirements for fabrication, assembly, and testing processes
  • Collaborate with team members to discuss design changes, manufacturing methods, and drafting techniques

What's Needed?

  • Associate's degree in engineering technology or a related field
  • 5-7 years of relevant experience in mechanical support or engineering environments
  • Proficiency in creating sketches, engineering drawings, and performing basic calculations
  • Knowledge of engineering science and technology applications
  • Experience with computer applications and design software related to engineering
