Responsibilities:
- Review customer technical specifications to ensure solutions meet requirements.
- Develop mechanical designs, including panel layouts, nameplate schedules, enclosure specifications, and cutout drawings using CAD software.
- Create and review 2D/3D CAD models and drawings for Protection and Automation Panels.
- Manage project bill of materials, validate functionality, and release parts/assemblies in the system.
- Develop Digital Twin models for wire routing and harness optimization.
- Provide factory support during manufacturing and address production challenges.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to drive project completion and integrate design enhancements.
- Support continuous improvement by refining products, processes, and tools.
- Offer technical assistance throughout design, manufacturing, and installation phases.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
- 2+ years of mechanical design experience in industrial control panels or power distribution equipment.
- 1+ years of 3D CAD experience (preferred software: NX or similar).
- Proficiency in AutoCAD/AutoCAD Electrical and Engineering Bill of Materials (EBOM).
- Willingness to travel ( 5% based on project needs).
Preferred Qualifications:
- Knowledge of High, Medium, and Low Voltage electrical distribution equipment.
- Familiarity with Protection and Automation Systems.
- Experience in complex engineering, production, or service environments.
- Proficiency with SAP, Salesforce, TeamCenter, or Engineering Base Software.
- Entrepreneurial mindset for process improvements, automation, and digitalization.
