MECHANICAL DESIGNER A

Our client is seeking a Mechanical Designer with automation experience to join their team. As a Mechanical Designer, you will be responsible for developing innovative solutions for Powertrain Machining, Assembly, and Test production systems. The ideal candidate will have ability to work independently & as part of cross-functional teams, able to work under minimal supervision and exhibit a high attention to detail which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Mechanical Designer
Location: Southfield, MI
Pay Rate: Pay is between $30-40/hour w2 (Will be dependent on experience level)

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop the concepts, designs, details, stocklists and layouts to meet project requirements using Solidworks Cad Software
  • Develop complete designs for Manual, Automatic, and Semi-Automatic Stations and Machines. Assist the Manufacturing and Commissioning teams in the implementation of the technical solutions
Requirements
  • 5+ years Mechanical Design and Engineering experience in Powertrain or Associates Degree in Mechanical Technology or equivalent experience
  • Ability to work independently and within teams
