Mechanical Designer 1

Location: York, NE
Schedule: Full-Time Hourly Non-Exempt

We are looking for a Mechanical Designer 1 to join our engineering team and contribute to the creation of production and assembly drawings using SolidWorks. If you have a keen eye for detail and a passion for mechanical design, we want to hear from you!

Create 2D drawings and top-level assembly drawings for production and customer use
Collaborate with engineers and designers to develop technical documentation
Ensure designs align with fabrication techniques and industry standards
Manage project timelines to meet deadlines effectively
Utilize SolidWorks and PDM Vault for drafting and design
Support production teams by providing accurate and detailed mechanical drawings

Education & Experience: Associate degree in CAD Drafting or 1-2 years of relevant experience
Technical Skills: Proficiency in 2D/3D CAD design (SolidWorks preferred), Microsoft Office, and familiarity with pneumatic circuits & mechanical drafting
Problem-Solving: Ability to think critically, troubleshoot issues, and ensure precision in designs
Teamwork & Communication: Strong collaboration skills to work effectively with engineers, designers, and production teams
