Mechanic

This role is responsible for performing a wide range of maintenance tasks including electrical, plumbing, structural, and equipment repair, as well as preventive maintenance and inspections to ensure safe and efficient facility operations. The position requires strong attention to detail, adherence to safety procedures, teamwork, and the ability to complete projects and support business needs in a timely and responsible manner.


Job Summary and General Duties:

  • Troubleshoots maintenance problems involving electrical, structural, plumbing, and equipment repair or replacement.
  • Performs preventive building & production conveyor lines maintenance duties, caulks windows and doors, repairs and replaces broken windows.
  • Performs routine plumbing repairs such as unstopping toilets, sinks or urinals, fixing water leaks, and leaking faucets.
  • Performs routine electrical repairs such as changing light bulbs or fluorescent lamps and assists in repairing ballast and light fixtures.
  • Purchases supplies, equipment, and materials necessary to complete projects.
  • Repairs and replaces doorknobs or locks, repairs door closures, patches holes in walls.
  • Paints interior and exterior walls.
  • Must always follow all SOPs and safety procedures.
  • Responsible for maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
  • Assist or perform tasks given by management to support business needs.
  • Performs constant A93 equipment inspections and maintenance to ensure good running conditions.
  • Assist to repair or replace any problems in A93 buildings by following their safety practices and precautions.

  • Ability to move equipment weighing up to 50lbs.
  • Ability to work without cellular devices, jewelry and other objects that may fall into blending equipment.

  • Ability to work responsibly.
  • Ability to follow instructions and pre-established guidelines.

Knowledge and Skills Preferred:

  • High School Diploma.
  • Minimum of 1 year of work experience.
  • Knowledge of occupational hazards and safety precautions.
  • Knowledge of trades related to building maintenance and repair.

Monday- Friday: 7am-3:30pm
