Material Handler I

Shift: 5:30 AM-3:30 PM

Hourly Rate: $24.01 an hour

We are hiring for an onsite Material Handler to help produce our delicious products at our Humboldt, TN plant. The primary function of this position is to transport full pallets of finished product to storage areas or load directly into trailers for shipping ensuring GMP and quality standards are met to maintain an efficient flow of the production process. You will report to the Warehouse Supervisor and work on a team of 5.

Hourly Rate: $24.01

Shift: 1st (5:30am-3:30pm)

You Will:

• Operate a forklift safely for transporting materials, staging, and loading trailers.
• Supply the palletizer with correct materials and operate equipment as needed.
• Perform daily forklift safety checks and end of shift maintenance (battery charging, securing equipment).
• Operate a VMU for systematic inventory transactions and perform cycle counts.
• Complete required production and inventory documentation, including lot tracking and pallet tags.
• Conduct visual quality inspections and identify material issues.
• Stack, stretch wrap, and secure pallets-including stacking up to 4 skids high.
• Change stretch wrap rolls and handle dunnage, packing materials, and pallet inspection/removal. Perform lifting and material handling techniques safely.
• Maintain housekeeping standards in the warehouse and production areas.
• Other responsibilities as assigned

You Have:

• Must communicate in English as it relates to the job and to the safety regulations.
• Forklift certified
• High School diploma or proof of GED.
