Position Summary:
Receive, check-in and handle product in a timely and safe manner to optimize business savings, improve efficiencies and help achieve the business's missions and goals.
Essential Responsibilities: (other duties as assigned)
- Assure the work cells are properly stocked with raw materials to assure continuous production in all work cells.
- Receive and check-in of raw materials, purchased stock and finished items, equipment, supplied and returned goods.
- Check received goods to purchase orders or receiving slips as to identification, type, part number, dimension, size, weight, and general quality.
- Inspect goods received for damage from handling and transit.
- Deliver materials to storage or manufacturing areas.
- Be responsible for keeping the receiving docks and aisles clean of materials as received so as not to impede upon further arrival of materials.
- Drive and unload box truck (if/as needed).

Qualifications:
- 3 years of forklift driving experience
- Ability to follow directions
- Ability to understand/communicate basic English
- Regular and consistent attendance

Physical / Mental Demands:
- Ability to lift, bend, walk and stand for extended periods of time.
- Moderate to heavy lifting = 40lbs on a regular basis (20% of time) and 75lbs occasionally (5% of time).
- Operate motorized equipment such as forklift. Ability to climb on and off as required.
- The worker is required to have visual acuity to determine the accuracy, neatness, and thoroughness of the work assigned or to make general observations of facilities or structures.
- The worker is not substantially exposed to adverse environmental conditions.
