Manufacturing Technician

Our client is seeking a Manufacturing Technician to work alongside engineers, maintenance, operations, and operators to implement projects, new technologies, and assist optimizing processes. As a Manufacturing Technician, you will be responsible for working on, and occasionally leading, projects that will optimize processes and aid with driving efficiency, quality, and productivity. The ideal candidate will have ability to work independently & as part of cross-functional teams, able to work under minimal supervision and exhibit a high attention to detail which will align successfully in the organization.

Location: Louisville, KY
Pay Rate: Pay will be up to $29/hour (dependent on experience)

Key Responsibilities

• Assist engineers, maintenance, and operations as required on special projects.
• Fabricate components for various projects while working closely with engineering, operations, and maintenance. This includes regular use of various hand tools, power tools, and other equipment.
• Investigate manufacturing challenges and aid with corrective actions to ensure smooth operations.
• Monitor and analyze manufacturing data to support decision-making and drive process improvements.

• Hands-on experience with CAD/CAM software, CNC programming, and/or robotic automation is preferred.
• Mechanical aptitude is required.
• Welding and general fabrication skills are preferred.
• Strong understanding of fabrication, machining, and process validation in manufacturing environment.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings, GD&T, and manufacturing specifications
