Job Requirements:
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Must have advanced knowledge of AutoCAD and Solid Works.
- Demonstrates the ability to become knowledgeable of manufacturing and production equipment and reports.
- Must be knowledgeable of government regulations and specifications.
- Practices good business etiquette in oral and written communications.
- Must have knowledge of various fabrication and assembly, including metal machining, sheet metal fabrication, and welding.
- Knowledge of industry and military specifications for materials, parts, and processes preferred.
- Must have creativity, innovation, commitment to excellence, and the ability to work in a diverse and fast-paced environment.
- Must work well in a team environment.
- Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Must demonstrate good judgment, problem-solving skills, devotion to quality, and team-building skills.
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project, preferred.
- Knowledge of 3D scanning equipment.
- Must be able to obtain a security clearance when required by the contract.
Education and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering preferred or any related engineering degree or equivalent, and two (2) years of experience in manufacturing engineering or related engineering discipline; or High school diploma or equivalent and six (6) years of experience in manufacturing engineering or related engineering discipline.
