Staff Source is seeking experienced manual machinists for our client in Griffith, IN. This manual machinist position is a full time, temp-to-hire position with a starting pay of $23+/hr depending on experience. It is currently available for 1st shift Monday-Friday, with overtime as needed. Once hired on you will receive full family medical, dental, vision, and life insurance, as well as a 401k with company match, and PTO. PPE will be covered including reimbursement for steel toe boots.

Job Responsibilities:

??? Setting up and operating manual and/or CNC machines

??? Reading and interpreting blueprints, and technical drawings

??? Maintaining high-quality standards

??? Using precision measuring tools to conduct inspections

??? Troubleshooting and fixing machining issues

??? Working independently

Job Requirements:

??? Manual machinist experience of 5+ years

??? Blueprint reading skills

??? Proficiency with precision machining tools (micrometers, calipers, gauges)

??? High attention to detail

??? GED/High School Diploma

??? Pass a drug test and background check

??? Ability to lift over 50lbs
