MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN
The Maintenance Technician performs duties related to equipment as requested, including preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs to ensure operational efficiency. Assists the operations team with ongoing projects and lends support to the production department when needed, including training on equipment procedures. Interacts and coordinates with Cameron's Quality Systems to ensure strict adherence to FDA, MDA, GMP, and SQF regulations.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Troubleshoot and perform equipment repair and maintenance as needed.
Troubleshoot basic electrical issues as needed (high and low voltage).
Assist in tracking spare part usage. Communicate needs in parts, tooling, and consumables.
Assist in maintaining maintenance documents and databases.
Assist in equipment installations, operations, and process qualifications.
Willingness to champion other activities as requested by Operations and Cameron's leadership.

Assist in providing training and guidance to plant personnel as needed

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
Preferably vocational school training or relevant work experience of 2 years+.
Good mechanical troubleshooting/repair skills needed.
Good analytical, written, and verbal communication skills are needed.
Experience working with form, fill and seal packaging equipment a plus
Experience working with coffee roasting/grinding equipment a plus
Knowledge and understanding of PLC controlled equipment a plus
Experience working with natural gas burner/roaster/dryer/oxidizer/HVAC equipment a plus
Experience with Work Order/Preventative Maintenance tracking software is desired.
Reading and understanding electrical drawings, ladder diagrams and blueprints are a plus.
Ability to work in a team environment and be reasonably self-directed.
Must be able to sit/stand for extended periods of time.
Must be able to lift 25 pounds.
SKILLS NEEDED
Basic knowledge and use of PCs and Microsoft Office software (Outlook).
Experience working with natural gas burner/roaster/dryer/oxidizer/HVAC equipment a plus

REPORTING RELATIONSHIPS: This role will report to the Maintenance Supervisor
LOCATION: Corporate Headquarters located in Shakopee, MN.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
The noise level is high. Ear protection is provided.
Protective foot protection is required.
Compensation details: 38-40 Hourly Wage
