What this job involves

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining and repairing assigned facilities and their internal assets, including mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and food equipment. This role supports operations through inspections and maintenance processes while assisting Mobile Engineers and Control System Technicians. The position involves both independent task completion and training/supporting Maintenance Mechanics in repair efforts.

Your day-to-day tasks will include:

??? Maintain lighting systems including bulb and ballast replacement

??? Perform minor electrical troubleshooting and motor/pump repairs

??? Conduct preventive maintenance on HVAC/R equipment, auto/overhead doors, and food equipment

??? Execute plumbing repairs and general interior building maintenance

??? Support conveyor and sortation systems maintenance and troubleshooting

??? Maintain and troubleshoot PLC systems and components, scanners, printers, and network equipment

??? Update work orders in real-time using CMMS systems like Corrigo

Physical Demands and Work Environment:

??? Respond to after-hours emergency calls as part of on-call rotation

??? Ability to work in various indoor environments including mechanical rooms and production areas

??? Physical capability to lift, carry, and maneuver equipment and materials

??? Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces when necessary

??? Exposure to varying temperatures and noise levels in industrial settings

Required Qualifications:

??? Experience with HVAC/R systems maintenance and repair

??? Basic electrical troubleshooting capabilities

??? Knowledge of plumbing systems and repairs

??? Familiarity with PLC systems and industrial equipment

??? Ability to work independently and as part of a team

??? Strong commitment to safety procedures and compliance

??? Availability for on-call emergency response

Preferred Qualifications:

??? Experience with CMMS systems (Corrigo preferred)

??? Background in conveyor and sortation system maintenance

??? Food service equipment repair experience

??? Technical certification in relevant trades

??? Previous experience in commercial/industrial facility maintenance

??? Experience documenting work performance and materials procurement

??? Knowledge of building automation systems and controls
