Demonstrate knowledge of electrical systems including 120V, 208/240V, and 480V 3-phase including ability to read and troubleshoot with wiring schematics.
Knowledge of pneumatic and hydraulic systems - troubleshoot and repair.
Welding equipment maintenance/repair experience is a plus.
Bridge Crane maintenance/repair experience is a plus.
Experience with CMMS or other preventive maintenance systems.
Highly motivated and able to work independently.
DESCRIPTION:
Ensure operation of machinery and mechanical equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements on motors, pneumatic systems, hydraulic systems, conveyors, and sub systems utilizing equipment manuals and manufacturer's instructions.
Locates source of problems by observing mechanical devices in operation, listening for problems, using test instruments.
Remove/replace defective parts by dismantling devices; using crane hoist hand and power tools as needed.
Adjust functional parts of devices and control instruments to maintain operation.
Control downtime by informing production workers of routine preventive maintenance needs and techniques.
Provide mechanical maintenance information/ideas by answering questions and requests.
Communicate with production team/supervisor regarding scheduled equipment maintenance.
