MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN

This position performs repairs and preventive maintenance of company machines & equipment as directed.

Shift : Weekend shift - Friday-Sunday - 5:00am - 5:30pm with shift differential pay.

Pay Scale: $24.00 - $30.00 per hour plus, $5.33 shift differential pay

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Performs diagnostics, troubleshooting and repairs on all machinery/equipment.

• Assist with the installation of new, used, or custom machines/equipment per specifications.
• Assist with preventative maintenance and repairs to all machines/equipment.
• On-call phone assist or emergency travel to the facility to get the machine/equipment back in operational standards.
• Learn and understand all the mechanical, electrical, and programming of company's machine/equipment.
• Track and record all equipment repair and troubleshooting through company's maintenance software.
• Follows all OSHA and Company Safety Procedures when performing repairs and/or maintenance procedures.
• Consults with the Manager as necessary to ensure a coordinated repair process.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS:

• High School diploma or general education degree (GED) is required.
• A minimum of three years' maintenance experience or combination of experience and education may be considered.
• Must understand Electrical/Controls and Mechanical
• On-Call emergency troubleshooting and repair
• Must possess excellent verbal, written and interpersonal skills.
• Must be proficient with computer programs such as Excel, Email, and specific dedicated software.
• Must have ability to perform basic mathematical calculations in units of measure.
• Ability to read electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic schematics.
• Knowledge of PLC programming along with the ability to troubleshoot.
• Strong analytical skills are necessary, including problem solving.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs.
• Position requires standing, sitting, squatting, twisting, or stooping for long periods.

Compensation details: 24-30 Hourly Wage
