We're partnering with a food manufacturer in Grand Rapids that produces gluten-free snacks to hire an Industrial Maintenance Technician. This is a hands-on opportunity to support production, troubleshoot equipment, and help keep manufacturing operations running smoothly.
The Maintenance Technician will perform preventive maintenance and equipment repairs throughout the facility. We're looking for someone with strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills who can work independently and communicate effectively with production teams.

Job Details
Responsibilities
Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic equipment.
Perform preventive maintenance on production and packaging machinery.
Diagnose problems involving motors, conveyors, bearings, belts, sensors, and related components.
Respond to equipment breakdowns and identify the causes of recurring issues.
Assist with equipment installations, adjustments, and improvements.
Document maintenance work and communicate repair needs.
Follow food safety, sanitation, and lockout/tagout procedures.
Qualifications
Previous industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills and experience diagnosing electrical issues.
Ability to read equipment manuals, electrical schematics, and technical drawings.
Experience with food processing or packaging equipment preferred.
Familiarity with PLC troubleshooting and VFDs is a plus.
Ability to prioritize repairs and work independently during second shift.
Availability to work 4:00 PM-2:00 AM.
