We are looking for a Plastic Extrusion - Machine Operator located in the Everman area. Candidates must be comfortable working in a Non-Climate Controlled facility on 2nd Shift 4PM - 12 AM
Position Requirements:
- Previous experience operating and setting up machinery in a manufacturing plant required, operating extrusion equipment is a plus.
- Capable of reading and writing in English - A production report must be completed, in writing, throughout the shift.
- Ability to read a micrometer & tape measure.
- Understand/follow instructions on production orders and set-up equipment accordingly. Training on the specifics regarding the raw materials is provided.
- Must possess critical thinking and troubleshooting skills in order to make adjustments to the machinery
- Must work well with co-workers.
- Must have effective communication skills.
- Responsible for ensuring the quality of the product meets company standards.
- Must possess basic computer skills to generate product labels.
- Must keep work area clean and organized during shift.
- Must wear required PPE (safety glasses/earplugs)
- Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus!
