Responsibilities

  • Operate and monitor various manufacturing equipment including CNC machines, stamping presses, flexo presses, press brake machines, CNC lathes, milling machines, and CAM programming tools to produce high-quality components.
  • Set up machinery using detailed blueprints and technical drawings; interpret GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing) specifications to ensure precision.
  • Handle materials safely and efficiently using forklifts and other warehouse equipment; manage inventory flow to support production schedules.
  • Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on machinery such as Fanuc controls, CNC programming systems, and tooling setups to minimize downtime.
  • Conduct quality inspections utilizing precision measuring instruments like calipers and micrometers; document measurements accurately for quality control purposes.
  • Assist in fabrication, assembly line tasks, welding, and packaging processes to complete finished products ready for shipment.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety protocols; participate in safety training sessions regularly.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience operating manufacturing machinery including CNC milling machines, CNC lathes, stamping presses, press brakes, and flexo presses.
  • Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to read blueprints, CAD drawings (SolidWorks preferred), and technical specifications.
  • Familiarity with programmable logic controllers (PLCs), Fanuc controls, CAM programming, and CNC programming is highly desirable.
  • Hands-on experience with tooling setup, fabrication techniques, welding, and assembly processes.
  • Skilled in the use of hand tools, calipers, micrometers, and other precision measuring instruments for quality assurance.
  • Warehouse or factory experience involving materials handling with forklifts or similar equipment is a plus.
  • Basic math skills necessary for measurements and calculations involved in machining and assembly tasks.
  • Knowledge of GD&T principles for ensuring parts meet strict tolerances; understanding of factory safety standards is essential.
