Are you seeking a long-term position!? A food manufacturing company in Plano is seeking Machine Operators. This is a Temp-to-Hire position.



Essential Functions

Push the dual control buttons and move the controls to start and stop the equipment.

Continually check materials and products for defects, and ensure conformance to specifications and high quality.

Remove formed products and rework from machines, and place them in trays, carts, or totes.

Identify and mark materials, products, and samples.

Load materials and products into machines and equipment, using hand tools.

Clean and maintain machinery, equipment, and work areas to ensure proper functioning and safe working conditions.

Weigh or measure materials or formed products to ensure conformance to specifications.

Accurately record production and operational data on paperwork.

Add raw material ingredients to machines or equipment as required by the manufacturing process.

Transfer materials and products to and from machinery and equipment, using rolling carts/racks or hand trucks.

Responsible for reporting food safety problems to their supervisor/lead or someone with authority to initiate action.

Identify any risk of intentional harm to the facility, personnel, or products and report them to their supervisor.

Requirements

1. Must bring interpersonal and communication (written and oral in English) skills required to interact with various levels of plant personnel.

2. Must be detail-oriented, organized, and possess the ability to multitask.

3. Ability to operate in a team environment.

4. Ability to prioritize and meet production goals within specified time constraints.

5. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.


6. Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.


Shifts:


3rd - Monday - Friday 12 pm - 8:30 am plus Weekends if needed


Pay Rate: $18.50
