As the Logistics Supervisor, you will support cross-functional departments to achieve successful logistics, inventory, and warehousing operations for Plastipak's site in Keasbey, NJ. You Will:
- Support various operational disciplines in a manufacturing plant; including warehouse operations, demand planning, and scheduling.
- Oversee operations and inventory levels in the Spare Parts Room.
- Coordinate with Plastipak's customers to evaluate and set production schedules.
- Monitor the storage and movement of raw materials; maintain accurate and updated inventory levels and cycle counts.
- Uphold and contribute to our positive work environment, where safety, continuous improvement, and customer satisfaction are top priorities.
- Manage and develop a team of four direct reports within the logistics department and spare parts room.
You Have:
- At least 3 years of experience leading supply chain or logistics functions within a manufacturing environment.
- Experience interacting with cross-functional departments to achieve both administrative and operational goals.
- Experience leading and motivating others, either formally or informally.
- ERP system proficiency; SAP preferred.
- Experience operating a forklift preferred
