Coordinate shipping operations: process orders, coordinate with freight carriers for pickups and deliveries and communicate shipping schedules internally.
Prepare shipping documentation: create and print BOLS, shipping labels, packing slips, and invoices, ensuring all required paperwork is included with shipments. Maintain accurate records of shipments with proper tracking and reporting of all outgoing orders.
Sourcing and negotiating: Evaluate carriers performance, negotiate freight rates and establish route guides to optimize cost.
Provide information for customer service inquiries regarding order status, shipping updates, and any delays.
Work closely with internal teams, such as customer service and warehouse to ensure orders are delivered on time.
Resolve any issues related to shipments, such as missing or damaged items, chargebacks, and provide timely solutions.
Assist with the handling of returned items and ensure they are logged and processed correctly.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Proficient in using shipping software and basic office applications.
Excellent communication skills and customer service orientation.
Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and perform physical tasks as required.
Education/Experience/Certifications/Licenses
High School Diploma required. Associates Degree preferred.
Previous experience in shipping, logistics, or warehouse operations required
