Logistics Associate

Our client, a leading manufacturing organization, is seeking a Logistics Associate to join their team. As a Logistics Associate, you will be part of the Operations Department supporting manufacturing and warehouse operations. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, proactive problem-solving abilities, and a collaborative mindset, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Logistics Associate

Location:Hayward, CA

Pay Range: $32/h + Benefits

What's the Job?

  • Manage all warehouse material flow processes to and from dock to production and shipping areas using various transport methods.
  • Utilize systems technology to input, retrieve inventory data, and process material movements efficiently throughout the warehouse.
  • Assess material needs for production areas and pull materials using information systems to support the production schedule.
  • Identify and resolve inventory discrepancies through physical and systemic methods, ensuring inventory accuracy.
  • Maintain safety standards and cleanliness in the work area, including 5S practices, to promote a safe and organized environment.

What's Needed?

  • High School Degree or GED with 6-8 years of industry experience.
  • Proficiency with computer systems, including Microsoft Office applications such as Excel and Word.
  • Experience with SAP or similar systems is a plus.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and oral.
  • Ability to operate heavy warehouse equipment and lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Clean driving record.
