1776 Moving and Storage Inc. has an immediate opening for a Local Dispatcher in the Orlando office. The ideal candidate will be highly motivated and share in our commitment to providing excellent service.
Qualifications:
Must be computer literate
Must be reliable, dependable and punctual
Ability to handle stressful situations
Ability to meet aggressive deadlines and juggle multiple priorities
Excellent communication and organizational skills
Ability to excel in a fast paced work environment
Knowledge of the Central Florida area
Must have reliable transportation
Must have a valid driver's license
Must have a minimum of 2 years driving experience with a 26ft straight truck
Ideal candidate will have 1 year of forklift operation experience
Prior dispatching experience a plus, but not necessary
Special Requirements: Must be willing to be available on weekends and after hours during the week if needed. Early morning starts are frequent. This is a hands-on position that requires physical work as needed.
Responsibilities:
Schedule local moving services efficiently to provide a first class moving experience
Responsible for the hiring and training of local movers and drivers
Enforces company policies and ensures standards are being met with movers and drivers
Handle inbound calls
Maintain equipment files
Fill in when necessary as a driver/crew leader
Assist with warehouse work when needed
Other miscellaneous duties as needed
