Lead Warehouse

SJS Executives, LLC (SJS), also doing business as SJS Industrial, is currently seeking a talented Warehouse Lead that is experienced with government/federal facilities supporting a possible upcoming contract in Denver, CO.

SJS is a Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) with 200 employees coast to coast and a headquarters in Virginia Beach, Virginia; it specializes in professional services to support federal and military organizations.

The pay range for this position is estimated to be $25-$30/hr. SJS also includes the following benefits: 11 paid federal holidays, 7 days of sick time accrual, medical, dental, vision, and 401k.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the overall performed by Material Coordinators at assigned warehouse
  • Trains Material Coordinators
  • Assigns work based on priorities, selective consideration of the difficulty and requirements of assignments, and the capabilities of the employees ensuring work is timely
  • Ensure employees are performing work safely and meeting quality objectives.
  • Complies with DLS standards and all transactions are accurate.
  • Maintain records, document necessary information and utilize reports to warehouse project status.
  • Identify areas of improvement and collaborates with government personnel to enforce operating instructions and safety policies.
  • Monitors and reviews work, gives employee feedback on performance and conducts performance appraisals.
  • Ensuring order drops are accurate, 90% accurate rate, correct tasks at right time, performing functions timely, accurately and meeting performance standards.
  • Identifying issues/concerns and reporting to On-site Program Manager.
  • Resolving/implementing new procedures, resolving conflicts, consulting with govt. personnel, CO, COR, ensure proper training and documentation on file for completion of training for each MH for each specific task/area of work.
  • Other program-related tasks and responsibilities as assigned by the SJS Program Manager, Director of Federal Contracts Director or company owners or officers.

Qualifications:

  • In accordance with federal regulations, possession of a valid Real ID is a requirement for this position.
  • 5 years of Supervisory experience in Supply Chain/Logistics/Warehouse Operations.
  • Knowledge shall be intermediate to advance in logistics with experience in supply chain management (e.g. shipping, receiving, order fulfillment processes and procedures).
  • Conflict management skills and the ability to anticipate and solve problems.
  • Time management skills in order to adhere to scheduling and prioritizing
  • Proficient in the following: inventory software and systems; Microsoft Windows 10, Microsoft Excel; Microsoft Office 2010 or latter; data entry; and typing skills.
  • Knowledge of security measures and principles to prevent loss of product and control access.
  • Knowledge of protective clothing, safety, and hazardous material handling procedures and equipment to ensure that employees work safely, have a safe environment to work.
  • Ensure that health and safety meets the required standards and that risk assessments are carried out.
  • Ability to guide and teach employees in their duties, procedures, and policies.
  • Ability to monitor and discuss with the employee their performance.
  • Must safeguard confidential information (both printed and electronic); Must comply with federal privacy act laws, federal regulations, federal statutes and polices.
  • Must have a clean record and be able to successfully pass a drug test and thorough background check that spans beyond 7 years for possible access onto military installations.
