Job Responsibilities:

Canopy Teller operations are conducted through interactive teller machines (ITM's) where you will be responsible for accurately processing financial transactions for members as well as through the mail and over the phone.

Represents the Credit Union to the members in a friendly, positive and professional manner and provides prompt, efficient, confidential and accurate services in the processing of transactions.

Responsible for coaching & encouraging department to meet or exceed goals.

Responsible for ensuring incoming mail is picked up and processed in a timely manner.

Responsible for department scheduling including lunches, breaks and vacations. Assures adequate coverage at all times.

Handles teller and float related member complaints and resolution handling escalated teller and float interactions.

Responsible for notifying tellers and floats of any errors, ensuring proper correction occurs, daily accuracy and balancing.

Recommends to Digital Member Experience Director disciplinary action when needed.

Maintains accurate and accountable records of transactions performed throughout the day, responsible for teller exceptions.

Assures that the vaults are opened according to the Credit Union schedule. Assures the following safe deposit box

functions are completed: billing and procedures, maintain keys, tags, and monthly audits.

Assists Digital Member Experience Director in hiring new employees and implementing personnel policy.

Notify Digital Member Experience Director of equipment repair and maintenance including but not limited to monitoring all ITM's.

Train all new employees on teller and float procedures. Drafts new procedures, update and maintain procedures manuals.

Responsible for defined regulatory compliance on Check Hold Funds Availability Act, Currency Transaction Reporting, Maintain Monetary Instrument Log (MIL) for exchanged or cash purchases of $3,000-$10,000.

Back up Contact Center Supervisor as authorized. Assists VP and Digital Member Experience Director with projects.

Other duties as assigned.



High school diploma or equivalent and two years related experience. Must be extremely proficient with 10-key calculator. Typing skills necessary (accuracy is essential; speed not required). Good organization skills with the ability to perform assigned duties with minimal supervision.



Compensation details: 21-25 Hourly Wage
