They're seeking a Lead Structural Engineer to join their in-house design team. This role offers the opportunity to work on a variety of unique, challenging projects from concept through construction within a collaborative, integrated project delivery environment.
Position Overview: - As the Lead Structural Engineer, you'll play a key role in the design and execution of structural systems for commercial, industrial, institutional, and recreational facilities. You'll collaborate closely with Architects, Project Managers, and Field Operations to ensure innovative, cost-effective, and code-compliant designs that align with client objectives and the company's design-build delivery model.

Responsibilities: - Design structural systems for new construction, additions, and renovations using steel, concrete, masonry, and wood.
- Prepare construction documents including structural plans, details, specifications, and calculations.
- Perform structural analysis using software such as RISA, RAM, or similar.
- Coordinate with internal design team and external consultants.
- Review shop drawings and submittals; respond to RFIs and provide support during construction.
- Ensure compliance with building codes, safety standards, and industry best practices.
- Participate in design meetings and client presentations as needed.
- Assist with estimating and value engineering during preconstruction.
Qualifications: - Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related field. Master's Degree is a plus.
- Professional Engineer (PE) License is preferred. Open to those that are eligible to take the exam or are scheduled to take it.
- Structural engineering experience.
- Experience in a design-build environment is a plus.
- The company uses AutoCAD, Revit, and structural analysis software.
