Janitor

The Janitor is responsible for maintaining a clean and sanitized environment for our team. The role requires high attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently with minimal supervision. The Janitor is responsible for thoroughly cleaning all restrooms, hallways, stairways, break rooms and offices in an industrial environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine cleaning tasks including dusting, wiping, emptying trash, sweeping, and mopping.
• Conduct thorough custodial duties in cleaning and stocking restrooms, break rooms, and common areas.
• Maintain cleanliness of exterior spaces.
• Carry out commercial cleaning duties to uphold high standards of hygiene.
• Support facilities maintenance by reporting any repairs or maintenance needs.
• Ensure all cleaning supplies are stocked and organized for efficient use.

• Proficiency in industrial cleaning techniques and equipment operation.
• Strong knowledge of custodial practices.
• Ability to maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Attention to detail with a commitment to quality work.
• Excellent time management skills to complete tasks efficiently.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Working Conditions

• Work is performed in an industrial environment with exposure to noise, dust, varying temperatures and weather conditions.
• Requires communicating effectively, standing, bending, twisting, walking up stairs and on uneven ground, lifting up to 25lbs.
• Working with basic cleaning and sanitizing chemicals on a daily basis.
• Use of personal protective equipment is mandatory.
