Inventory Control Specialist

Position Summary and Responsibilities
    Maintain inventory count accuracy of unassigned material, kitted material and finished goodsPerform accurate labeling and identification of materialAdhere to daily kitting requirementsMaintain organization and cleanliness of stockroomMonitor authorized exit and entry to stockroom areaPerform timely receiving check-in to ensure material is received, verified for accuracy and routed to appropriate locationReceiving in and appropriately manage customer supplied materialsEnsure failing receipts are segregated for case managementComplete daily shipping requirementsPerform or supervise packing process to ensure quality expectations are being addressedAdditional responsibilities to be assigned as needed


Position Qualifications

    Knowledge of Component IdentificationKnowledge of bill of materials, assembly drawings, product specific documentation, work instructions, and other general documentsAbility to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environmentAbility to read and speak English fluently Strong interpersonal and organizational skills Strong verbal/written communication as well as organization/interpersonal skillsComputer literacy3 to 5 years' experience in electronics preferredAbility to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manualsAbility to work with others in a team environmentAbility to accept direction from superiorsAbility to follow work rules and proceduresAbility to accept constructive criticismDetailed knowledge of component package styles and their relationship to manufacturing processesEffectively communicates with job contacts in a positive manner, maintaining appropriate confidentiality
