Position Overview
The Inventory Associate II plays a vital role in supporting inventory accuracy and operational efficiency. This role is suited for someone who works well in a fast-paced environment, has strong attention to detail, and is motivated to contribute to high-performing supply chain processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Accurately receive and enter purchase and transfer orders into the ERP system (current system Dynamics SL - future system Microsoft D365).
- Upload and maintain receiving-related documents in shared internal files.
- Process buyback (swap) orders using enterprise and web-based platforms, primarily for Atlanta operations.
- Review and validate all buyback documentation; investigate and resolve discrepancies in collaboration with customer service and other teams.
- Coordinate the dispatch of empty swap cylinders with distribution.
- Support month-end inventory reconciliation activities across the Atlanta plant and 27 3PL's.
- Manage returns of empty cylinders deposit credits due to customers.
- Additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- 2-3 years of experience in inventory control, production planning, or supply chain operations in an office environment.
- Experience with ERP systems (e.g., Dynamics SL, SAP, or similar).
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Office applications.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Ability to adapt to changes and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Proactive and motivated to learn and improve processes.
